Kefalonia

Kefalonia, the largest island in the Ionian Sea, offers many impressive locations for visitors. It is famous for its beautiful beaches that combine blue and green waters, the most famous being Myrtos, Antisamos, Petani, Makris Gialos, Lourdas, and Skala. It is also worth visiting smaller beaches, such as Ai-Helis, Koroni, and Kaminia.

Unique attractions that should not be missed are the Melissani Cave, which can be explored by boat, and the Drogarati Cave, a rare geological phenomenon.

Some of the most picturesque areas to visit for delicious food are Fiskardo, Assos, and, of course, the island's capital, Argostoli, which is also ideal for a beautiful evening stroll.  For fresh fish and seafood by the sea, the area of Katelios is the safest choice.
