Katelios

Katelios is located in the southern part of the island, just 30 minutes from the port of Poros and 40 minutes from Argostoli. Here you can find fresh fish and seafood and sample local traditional flavors in the taverns located by the sea. In the center of the village is the organized beach of Katelios, while for those interested in an unorganized beach, Agia Varvara beach is 2 minutes away.

There are other beautiful sandy beaches nearby, such as Kaminia, Koroni, and Skala. The village is also next to another important point of interest, the famous church of Panagia Fidousa, which is a magnet for the religious festival of the Assumption on August 15.
